This page contains videos and guides on how to manage your media and content on the MAPTMedia Cloud Signage CMS. A quick guide to getting started is available below.  Additional resources can be found by scrolling down.  We’ll be adding resources in the future so be sure to check out our new features and guides later.  If you have any questions or would like to see a guide on a particular feature feel free to contact us and let us know.

Linking your CMS and Kiosk

To link your MAPTMedia Cloud Signage CMS content with your kiosk, watch the video on the right or follow the steps below.

  • Download the Windows executable and extract and run it on your Kiosk.
  • You will be prompted to enter a name for the client machine e.g. “Lobby Kiosk”, your username and your user key (which can be located by logging into the CMS and clicking the gear icon at the top right – Note: the key is case sensitive).
  • To run the application on startup: Right click on the client.exe and create a shortcut.  Move the shortcut to the Start menu > Startup folder.
  • Finally, to activate the screen login to and navigate to the Screens tab.
  • Click on the screen awaiting activation e.g. “Lobby Kiosk” and click the green arrow beside an available slot.

View the video to the left to add content to your MAPTMedia Cloud Signage CMS, download the AddingMainContent.pdf or follow the steps below:

  • Login to your account at
  • Click on the ‘Change’ button and select a layout that’s right for you.
  • To add media to your selected layout, click on the content area you would like to add content to.
  • A new dropdown will appear below. Select the ‘+ Add Content’ button to add your media to the selected area.
  • Your content management library will appear.  If you have already uploaded your media select it, or upload new media directly.
  • Your new content should now show up in the selected content area.  Make sure to save your changes when you are finished.
